The new PRO PPF website homepage: pre-cut PPF kits, ready to install, no plotter needed

Our New Website and PPF Profit Calculator: See What Pre-Cut Kits Could Earn You

The PRO PPF website has had a complete rebuild this month. It's got a new dark studio look, real PRO PPF photos, and a simpler layout on your phone. The part we're most excited about for detailers, though, is the new profit calculator. It lets you see in a few seconds what pre-cut kits could be worth to your business.

Here's how it works, plus a quick tour of everything else that's new.

The profit calculator: what it does

You'll find the calculator on the homepage and on our Pricing page. You don't need to type anything in. There are three sliders, one each for Front End, Track Pack and Full Car jobs a month, and each one goes from 0 to 20. Drag them to match the work you do (or the work you'd like to be doing) and the result updates straight away.

At the top there are two tabs, depending on where you are with PPF.

"I'm looking to add PPF"

This tab is for detailers who don't offer PPF yet. It shows an estimated profit a month and a year from fitting PRO PPF pre-cut kits. It works this out from example customer charges for each job, minus the kit cost and £9.99 delivery per job. The kit costs are pulled live from our Gloss trade prices (inc VAT), so if our prices change, the calculator changes with them. On the Pricing page you'll also see the revenue and the kits-and-delivery cost behind the result.

"I already fit PPF"

If you already cut your own film on a plotter, this tab compares that with buying pre-cut kits. On the in-house side it adds up film per job, a plotter spread over 36 months, a monthly pattern library, recuts, and your time plotting and weeding. It then shows the estimated saving a month and a year, plus the hours you'd get back. If cutting in-house works out cheaper, or about the same, it tells you that too.

How to get the most out of it

  • Use your real numbers. The sliders start at 4 Front Ends, 2 Track Packs and 1 Full Car a month, but set them to your own workload.
  • Check the assumptions. Tap "Based on typical figures" to see every figure the calculator uses.
  • Treat it as a guide. It's an estimate, not a forecast. It doesn't include your labour, overheads or VAT position, and the profit depends on what you charge your customers.

What else is new on the site

Order a kit through Matt

The new Order a kit page lets you WhatsApp, call, email or fill in a quick form, whether you need a standard kit or a custom order. Matt puts the order together and sends you a payment link.

A clearer trade account application

The trade account page uses the same application form as before. It now also explains what you get, how it works in three steps, and answers the common questions, with a direct line to Matt if you'd rather talk.

Free PPF sample

Want to see and feel the film first? Request a free PPF sample in a couple of taps. The page also covers the film finishes and our warranty.

Training with live places left

The PPF Training page now shows upcoming course dates with the places left on each one, kept up to date from our training calendar. There's a gallery of real course photos too, and a WhatsApp button with a message ready to send about upcoming dates.

A simpler mobile site

On your phone, the homepage now gives you a few clear routes, and a bar along the bottom lets you WhatsApp Matt or order a kit wherever you are. The full calculator works on mobile too.

Run your own numbers

Have a play with the calculator on the homepage. If the numbers stack up for you, apply for a free trade account and we'll get you set up with fixed kit pricing, no plotter and no minimum orders.
